Science
has no slogans.
Science has no slogans. It is a discipline of decades.
"True research never serves the advertising line of next season; it serves only the women of the next generation."
The Kyoto Life Sciences Institute was founded in 2014. To date it has built up 80+ proprietary patents, 600+ core formulations, and 12 clinical-stage research programs. Our core technologies span signal peptides, ceramides, and low-molecular hyaluronic acid, all supervised by an international scientific advisory board — including a dermatology professor from Harvard Medical School and a life sciences academician from Kyoto University.
We believe: molecules have patience, clinical trials have patience, the skin has patience. All the power that can truly guard a woman's beauty across decades comes from a reverence for time. The 12th-generation revitalizing complex — the work of seven years of research — will formally enter the clinical-application stage of our flagship series in spring 2026.
We do not speak for the next season. We speak for the next generation.
Research that withstands serious scrutiny
Research, in numbers.
Six Domains of Science
Six domains, one discipline — guarding the authentic beauty of Eastern women.
Technology Vision & Positioning
Devoted to guarding the authentic beauty of Eastern women through molecular science — interdisciplinary, long-cycle, clinically driven. This is our long‑term stance on what "research" means.
Advanced Formulation & Delivery
A philosophy of restraint, single actives, clinical validation. Using liposomes, nano-carriers, and sustained-release technology to deliver molecules precisely to each layer of the skin.
Skin Intelligence Research
Grounded in skin microenvironment research, combined with AI-assisted formulation design and personalized skincare data modeling — moving skincare from "experience" to "evidence."
R&D Team & Facilities
The Kyoto Life Sciences Institute at the center, supervised by an international scientific advisory board, with twelve clinical-stage projects advancing in parallel. Research is the lifeblood of the organization.
Supply Chain & Sustainable Technology
From raw material traceability to green chemistry to full-process tracking — treating "sustainability" as a responsibility to the women of the next generation, not as market rhetoric.
External Collaboration
Long‑term academic collaboration with Japanese universities such as Kyoto and Tokyo, alongside American technology partners and international scholarly institutions — collaboration on the dimension of research, not of capital.
Science is the first of the two engines.
Toyo Bijin Holdings is driven by dual engines: "life sciences" and "strategic capital." Having read the science chapter, please continue to see how, through the force of capital, we carry the returns of research across generations.
