Retail Expansion Specialist

Responsibilities

• Lead site selection, commercial real estate partnerships and store development across the Group's core Asian markets.
• Own end-to-end project management for new stores, from project initiation through construction milestones to opening.
• Coordinate with the Taipei, Hong Kong and Shanghai representative offices, keeping regional cadence aligned with Group cadence.
• Execute to prestige retail standards, covering both Maison Bijin flagship stores and Bijin Privé concept stores.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with commercial real estate partners, representing the Group externally.

Requirements

Required

• Bachelor's degree or above in commercial real estate, retail management or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in retail expansion or commercial real estate.
• An international work background is a plus.
• Fluency in Japanese or English; reading and writing in both is a plus.

Preferred

• Experience expanding luxury, prestige retail or beauty flagship store networks.
• Substantive understanding of the Greater China commercial real estate market.

Alignment with Group Values

For Toyo Bijin, the decision to open a flagship store is calculated on a 30-year timescale, not on a lease term. We are looking for someone who can both read commercial real estate data and imagine what that store will look like on that street a decade from now.

The Group's global office network across Asia, North America, and Europe gives this role its operating range. This is a position of slow decisions and long execution.
