Responsibilities

  • Lead in-depth user research for Bijin Privé intimate care products, with qualitative interviews as the primary method.
  • Apply contextual inquiry to cover the full user journey, from first encounter through to long-term use.
  • Collect and structure product feedback systematically, closing the loop back to the R&D team.
  • Author user research reports that complement the market researcher's perspective and inform brand decisions.
  • Build and maintain an internal knowledge base of Bijin Privé user research methodology.

Requirements

Required

  • Bachelor's degree or above in UX research, design research, anthropology or psychology.
  • 3+ years of experience in user research or UX research.
  • Strong empathy, with the ability to build trust with interviewees on sensitive topics.
  • Fluency in Japanese or English.

Preferred

  • User research experience in women's health, maternal & infant or medical product categories.
  • Familiarity with multiple research methods including in-depth interviews, diary studies and contextual inquiry.
